Oklahoma Drought Monitor

Over the past 2 to 4 weeks, drought conditions across Oklahoma have split in opposite directions. Heavy precipitation and recent additional rainfall in central and western Oklahoma have led to marked improvements, leaving some areas near the West Region entirely free of dryness and drought. Conversely, the eastern fringes of the state have seen much sparser rainfall, where a week of abnormally dry and warm weather has caused conditions to deteriorate.
