HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS TONIGHT

We have some of the last regular season high school hoops games on the schedule tonight on both bigelk and paragontv. Elk City welcomes Cache to the Pioneer Center a little earlier than normal. The games have been moved up due to the possibility of inclement weather later this evening. The Elkettes and Lady Bulldogs tip at 5 with the boys game to follow. Catch the action live on bigelktv.com

Paragontv has a few games tonight as well. Merritt travels to Hobart, AB hosts Leedey, and C-R hosts Sweetwater. Girls games tip at 6:30 with the boys to follow at 8.

THUNDER WIN 6TH STRAIGHT

The Ok City Thunder continue to roll through the regular season schedule, winning their 6th straight last night inside the Paycom Center. OKC got out early and blew away the New Orleans Pelicans 137-101. SGA had 31 while Aaron Wiggins added 24 off the bench. The Thunder bench outscored the Pels 66-33. The Thunder have two more games before the All Star break this weekend. They’ll play tomorrow at home against Miami followed by a Thursday night road game at Minnesota.

SOONERS STUMBLE IN PUERTO RICO

The Oklahoma men’s golf team struggled in round 2 down in Puerto Rico. OU shot a team score of 6 under par and fell from 3rd to 6th as a team, 9 behind Ole Miss. Ryder Cowan shot an even par 72 after a first round 5 under 67. Cowan slipped from a tie for 5th into a tie for 16th. They’ve got one more round tomorrow to improve their position on the leaderboard.
