HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS RESULTS 

It was a rough night inside the Pioneer Center last night for the Brown and White. The Elkettes took a 4 point advantage into the 4th quarter against Chickasha, but the Lady Chicks outscored Elk City 22-10 in the final frame to come back and win 51-43. It's the 4th straight loss for the Elkettes since starting 13-2. The Big Elks fell behind 33-12 at halftime against the Chicks. The Elks dominated the second half, outscoring Chickasha 23-12, but it wasn’t enough in a 45-35 loss. 

It was another milestone night for Hammon Sr Henley West. She scored 15 to eclipse the 2000 point plateau in the Lady Warriors 58-51 win over Canute. AB came back to beat Hinton 44-43, C-R handled CBA 45-27, Erick topped Blair 36-24, Leedey hammered Mooreland 48-26. In those boys games, Hammon outlasted Canute 72-63, Hinton edged AB 39-26, Cheyenne-Reydon bombed CBA 62-37, Erick clipped Blair 53-44, and Leedey routed Mooreland 67-51. 

THUNDER HOST PHOENIX TONIGHT 

The Ok City Thunder hit the floor for the 3rd of a 4 game homestand tonight with Phoenix in town. Jalen Williams appears poised to return to the Thunder lineup while Kevin Durant will be absent for the Suns. You can hear Thunder/Suns tonight on 98.1 fm and 1240 am. Pregame will start at 7 ahead of the 8:30 tip 

OSU AND OU FALL ON THE ROAD 

Both Oklahoma and Oklahoma St had tough top 5 road trips last night in their respective conferences. OSU fought hard against #5 Houston before eventually falling to the Cougars 72-63. Houston improved to 18-4, 10-1 in the Big 12 while Ok St falls to 11-11, 3-8 in the league. Oklahoma hit the road in the SEC down to #1 Auburn. OU kept it close for a while until the Tigers blew out the Sooners 98-70. Auburn’s 21-1, a perfect 9-0 in the SEC. OU falls to 16-6, 3-6 in the league.
