HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS TONIGHT 

We’ve got a full slate of games tonight on the high school hoops hardwood. Elk City’s at home against Childress, TX. The Elkettes have started 5-0 while the Elks have stumbled out of the gate at 1-4. If you can’t get to the Pioneer Center tonight, no worries I’ve got ya covered with the live video stream on bigelktv.com. Pregame will start around 6:15 with the tip scheduled for 6:30. 

Paragontv’s schedule is loaded tonight as well. Leedey’s at Arnett. Merritt heads to Apache. Hammon welcomes Navajo. Canute’s at home against AB. All girls games will start at 6:30 with the boys games to follow around 8. 

Canute played last night at home against Cordell. The Trojanettes won easily, 72-23 against the Lady Blue Devils. The Trojans won as well 97-9 over the blue devils. 

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL RANKINGS 

This week’s high school basketball rankings were released last night. The girls rankings looked like this: In Class 4A the Western Conference is well represented in the top 20. Kingfisher’s 4th, Bethany 7, Newcastle 8, Tuttle 9, Wford’s 14, and the Elk city Elkettes debut in the poll this week at 17. Merritt held steady in the 2A rankings at #7. In Class A Canute’s still 6th, C-R fell to 13, and AB made their debut at #20. The Class B rankings have Hammon #2, L-S 3rd, Arnett 6, Leedey’s 12th, MVG 13. The Boys rankings show Wford #1 in 4A. Hydro-Eakly's 18th in Class A. Down in Class B Calumet’s #2, Granite’s 4th, Hammon’s #6, Duke is 8, Leedey 12, and Sentinel 15. 

THUNDER IN NBA CUP FINALS TONIGHT 

The Ok City Thunder will play tonight in Las Vegas in the finals of the in season tournament for the NBA Cup Finals. OKC will face off against Milwaukee tonight in the second edition of the in season tournament. Ok City topped Houston in the semfinals on Saturday, while the Bucks knocked out Atlanta. You can hear Thunder/Bucks tonight on 98.1 fm and 1240 am. Pregame gets cranking at 6 ahead of the 7:30 tip.
