HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS

Paragontv was on hand for multiple high school hoops doubleheaders all across Western Oklahoma last night. On the girls side of things, AB knocked off FCB 41-28, Canute handled Leedey 48-27, C-R smoked Sentinel 66-27, and Erick eased past Sweetwater 30-17. In boys action, AB beat FCB 50-43, Leedey edged Canute 46-45, C-R whipped Sentinel 51-38, and Erick held off Sweetwater 57-48

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKINGS

The second set of college football playoff committee rankings were released last night, and boy howdy do some people in the southeastern part of the country have some issues about it. 4 of the top 5 teams in the rankings are from the Big 10. Oregon's #1, Ohio St #2, Texas 3, Penn St 4 and Indiana 5. BYU checked in at 6. Tennessee 7. Notre Dame 8. Miami 9. Alabama 10. If the playoffs started this week, Oregon, Texas, BYU, and Miami would be the top 4 seeds with first round byes. The first round games would be Ohio St hosting Boise St. Penn St would welcome Ole Miss. Indiana hosting Bama. Tennessee would host Notre Dame.

THUNDER HOST NEW ORLEANS TONIGHT

The Ok City Thunder will play their 4th of 6 straight home games tonight with the New Orleans Pelicans in town. OKC's 9-2 so far this season, 1-0 since the Chet Holmgren injury that'll sideline the second year big man for a couple months. The Pelicans have their own injury issues tonight. Jose Alvarado, Herb Jones, Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, and Jordan Hawkins are all listed out for tonight's tilt. You can hear Thunder/Pels on 98.1fm and 1240 am. Pregame starts at 5 with the early tip scheduled for 6:30
