High School Football: Elk City Eyes Playoffs

The final week of high school football regular season is here, and the Elk City Elks have their playoff aspirations in sight. With a 4-5 overall record and a 3-3 standing in Class 4A’s District 1, Elk City needs a win against the Woodward Boomers tonight to clinch the 4th and final playoff spot. Woodward, with a 1-8 record, would love to spoil the Elks' hopes.

For those not making the trip to Woodward, you can catch the live video stream on BigElkTV or listen on Kool 94. Pregame begins at 6:30 PM, and kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.

Merritt Oilers Close Out Their Season

The Merritt Oilers concluded their season last night against Watonga. Due to expected rain, the game was moved up, ending with a 28-6 defeat for the Oilers. Merritt finishes with a 1-9 record, going winless in their tough Class A District 1.

Sweetwater Boys Win Class A Cross Country Championship

Congratulations to the Sweetwater boys cross country team on winning the Class A State Championship! Team members Levi Akemon, Tristan Billingsley, Blake Laster, Jude Lunsford, Austin Megli, and Kolyn Odom brought home the title for Sweetwater.

College Football: OU and OSU Look for Road Wins

Tomorrow, both Oklahoma State and Oklahoma hit the road for conference matchups. Oklahoma State, still seeking its first conference win, takes on TCU in Ft. Worth at 6:00 PM. OSU needs to win the final three games to secure a 19th consecutive bowl appearance.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma is one win away from bowl eligibility as they head to face #24 Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 PM, and you can listen live on Kool 94 with pregame starting at 3:30 PM.

NBA: Thunder Return Home to Face Rockets

The Oklahoma City Thunder look to bounce back from their first loss of the season against the Denver Nuggets. They’ll face the Houston Rockets tonight at Paycom Center, starting a six-game homestand.
