8th Annual “Draggin’ Main” Set for October 18 in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, OK – The streets of Cheyenne will come alive once again for the 8th Annual Draggin’ Main celebration on Saturday, October 18. The full day of fun features classic cars, local contests, music, and community spirit.

The day kicks off with the Auto Showcase at the Rook Star Event Center, with registration open from 9:30 a.m. to noon for all car enthusiasts looking to “rev up and roll out.” Midday fun continues with Hot Wheels Drag Racing at 11:30 a.m. at Martin’s Trading Post and an Alumni Visiting Session for Cheyenne and Strong City graduates at the Rook Star Event Center.

At 2 p.m., participants can join the all-new Scavenger Hunt at Martin’s Trading Post before the Cornhole Tournament gets underway at 3 p.m., sponsored by Clint Alford and Security State Bank. The Chaz Bryan Stereo Contest begins registration at 4:30 p.m. with judging at 6 p.m., led by Jimmy McDaniel.

The evening events start with the Alumni Parade at 5 p.m., honoring the Class of 2025. Then, it’s time to head downtown for the Rooftop Giveaways and the night’s theme — 90’s Grunge. Prizes and music continue through the evening, with special giveaways at 7 p.m. sponsored by Farm Bureau Agent Roy Garrison’s “Ball Drop.”

The Dance Contest begins at 8 p.m., where costume winners will be announced, followed by the $1,000 Cash Giveaway at 9 p.m., sponsored by Security State Bank. Registration for the cash drawing will be available at the Rook Star Event Center throughout the day.
