The Penny News 75

Medicare Open Enrollment has kicked off. October 15th thru December 7th is when Beneficiaries can re-visit their current Drug plans and Supplements to make changes. 2025 brings several new changes and it’s more important now then before to have a Medicare professional check your information.

The Centers for Medicare/Medicaid provide a Free service for Beneficiary’s to use. Western Oklahoma Medicare Counselor’s are available in several area’s of Western Oklahoma if you prefer in-person contact rather then talking over the Phone. Medicare Counselor’s are located in Opportunities Community Action locations. Clinton @ 2250 Modelle, Woodward @ 1007 Main, Woodward Senior Center. Call for appointment or walk-in.

A reminder to everyone: Medicare does not call you ever! If you are receiving calls, these are agents trying to sell you something or scammers. Do not answer a single question, just hang up. You can report these calls or mailings to your local Senior Medicare Patrol office also located in Your Community Action Agency.
