FLETC to Host Advanced Use of Force Training in Elk City

Elk City, OK – The Elk City Police Department is set to host a specialized Use of Force Training presented by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) from September 23rd through 26th, 2025.

This advanced course is tailored for certified law enforcement officers only and is not open to the public. The program will focus on enhancing officer safety, improving decision-making, and sharpening response tactics during high-stress situations. Attendees will be trained in modern use of force principles, aligning with FLETC’s national efforts to support law enforcement professionals.

The training will take place at the Western Technology Center in Elk City.
