Elk City, OK – During the latest meeting of the Elk City Commission, newly elected Mayor Micah Kilhoffer was sworn into office alongside re-elected commissioners, Ward 2 Commissioner Rod Carver and Ward 3 Commissioner Rocky Andresen.

Shortly after, outgoing Mayor Cory Speiker—who chose not to run for re-election—was honored by the city and Commissioner Andresen.

Speiker was elected as a commissioner in 2019 and assumed the mayoral position after then-Mayor Nick Archer was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2022.
