Fatal Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Wheeler Man

Gray County, TX – A single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Saturday evening resulted in the death of 62-year-old Gary Forrester of Wheeler, Texas.

The incident occurred on January 26, 2025, at approximately 7:39 p.m. on State Highway 152, 21 miles east of Pampa. According to the Texas Highway Patrol, Forrester was traveling eastbound on his 2003 Honda Goldwing when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The motorcycle veered off the road, struck a fence, and ejected the driver.

Forrester, who was wearing a helmet, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

The posted speed limit on the roadway was 75 mph. Weather conditions were clear, and the road was dry at the time of the crash.

The Texas Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident. No additional details have been released at this time.
