SWOSU Health Career Expo Offers Opportunities for Students and Community

The Penny News 1703

Weatherford, OK – Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) invites community members and students seeking jobs in health care to its Health Career Expo on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the north lobby of the Pioneer Event Center, 900 N. Seventh St. in Weatherford. No registration is required for attendees.

Participating employers will recruit in allied health, nursing and pharmacy, with opportunities to discuss internships, part-time work and full-time positions. The expo brings these employers together in one location so attendees can learn about different organizations and ask questions about positions that interest them. Representatives may also be able to connect job seekers with contacts for other health care roles.

Attendees are welcome to bring résumés to share as they visit employer tables. Conversations can help them learn what employers are looking for, understand how to apply, and make connections for future opportunities.
