Erick Man Injured in I-40 Rollover Crash in Beckham County

Elk City, OK – A 50-year-old Erick man was injured Sunday evening in a rollover crash on Interstate 40 in Beckham County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 6:25 p.m. on westbound Interstate 40 near mile marker 32.5 in Beckham County.

Troopers said Jose M. Gonzalez Neri of Erick was driving westbound when, for an unknown reason, his vehicle departed the roadway to the left and rolled approximately four times before coming to rest upright on its wheels.

Gonzalez Neri was reported injured in the crash. No passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Troopers noted that seat belts were in use.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated next of kin had been notified. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
