SWOSU Foundation Raises Over $60,000 at First-ever Chairman’s Tower Shoot

Weatherford, OK – The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Foundation, Incorporated (SWOSUF) hosted its first-ever Chairman’s Tower Shoot recently. The premium event was organized to benefit scholarships for SWOSU students from southwest Oklahoma.

We are deeply grateful to the sponsors and shooters who so generously participated in our first Tower Shoot and made the event such a success,” said SWOSUF Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Michael D. Hart, ’06, of Edmond. “Over $60,000 was raised and we look forward to next year’s gathering.”

The Shoot was held at Black Oak Farms in Devol, Oklahoma. The event included two rounds of elite pheasant shooting featuring a 10-station ring and 250 pheasants presenting challenging, high, over-the-head shots from a tower modeled after the classic London club style. Lunch was served between rounds.
