Custer County, OK – A two-vehicle collision was reported Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2026, at the intersection of State Highway 54 and County Road 960 in Custer County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m. as both vehicles were traveling northbound on Highway 54. Authorities say a Weatherford driver, 21-year-old Kimberly Jo Siegle, slowed to make a westbound turn onto County Road 960 when her vehicle was struck from behind.

The second driver, identified as 61-year-old Roy Laverne Plummer of Watonga, told troopers he was momentarily distracted while reaching for a drink and looked down before the crash. His vehicle struck the rear driver-side of Siegle’s vehicle with the front passenger-side bumper.

Siegle was not injured in the collision. One passenger in her vehicle sustained injuries, though the severity has not been released. Plummer was not injured.

All occupants in both vehicles were reported to be wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. No fatalities were reported.

Next of kin notifications have been made, according to the report.
