Wetumka Man Injured in Rollover Crash East of Cooperton

Kiowa County, OK – A 21 year old Wetumka man was injured Saturday morning in a rollover crash in Kiowa County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. on February 28 on State Highway 19 at County Road 2430, about 15 miles east of Cooperton.

Troopers reported that Logan A. Allford, 21, of Wetumka was driving westbound on SH 19 when his vehicle departed the roadway to the right. Investigators say the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its right side.

Allford was reported injured. The extent of his injuries was not released. He was not reported deceased. One passenger was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The passenger was not reported injured.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol indicated that seatbelts were not in use by all occupants.

Next of kin has been notified.
