Elk City, OK – Elk City alumni are encouraged to mark their calendars now for a summer tradition that brings generations together.

The Tri-Annual Elk City School Reunion is set for Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 at the Elk City Convention Center. The event will welcome all who graduated from or attended Elk City schools through the year 2006.

Festivities will take place both evenings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will include a catered meal. Organizers say the weekend will offer plenty of opportunities to reconnect with classmates, share memories and celebrate Elk City school pride.

Several special activities are planned. A reception honoring former teachers will be held Friday, giving alumni a chance to visit with the educators who helped shape their school years. On Saturday morning, a golf tournament will add a little friendly competition to the weekend lineup.

The reunion committee is currently working to update contact information for alumni from all classes through 2006. Anyone with mailing addresses or changes of address is asked to share that information.

Address updates may be sent to Linda Cook at 580-799-0432, Basil Weatherly at 580-821-2795, or by email to echsalumni@outlook.com.

Organizers encourage alumni to spread the word and help make this year’s reunion one to remember.
