Residents across southwest Oklahoma are encouraged to take part in shaping the region’s future transportation system.

Sayre residents will have the chance to help shape the future of transportation in southwest Oklahoma at an upcoming public meeting hosted by the Southwest Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SORTPO).

The Southwest Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SORTPO), as part of its ongoing regional transportation planning efforts and development of the Forward 45 Regional Transportation Plan, hosted Walkability Workshops in Weatherford and Duncan, Oklahoma.

Residents and stakeholders are invited to participate in a public meeting on October 29, 2024, to contribute to the Forward 45 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).

The Forward 45 RTP is a comprehensive, long-term strategic initiative designed to guide transportation planning and decision-making in Southwest Oklahoma for the next 20 years.
