Elk City, OK — Elk City police executed a search warrant Thursday, Oct. 30, at a residence inside the city limits and arrested two people in an investigation into unlicensed tattooing that allegedly involved minors, the department said.

Officers reported finding evidence that tattooing was being performed without a valid license. Police also said multiple firearms were recovered and determined to be illegally possessed by the subjects.

Two suspects, Amado Marquez and Stacey Vega, were taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Beckham County Jail on complaints related to operating without a tattoo license and illegal possession of firearms, according to police.

The department said it remains committed to public safety through proactive enforcement and credited community tips for aiding the case.
