Sayre, OK – The American Legion Department of Oklahoma, District 7, will hold its 2025 Joint Conference on Saturday, November 8, at American Legion Post 146, 906 N. 4th Street in Sayre.

Registration will open at 8 a.m., with the conference beginning at 9 a.m. All Legionnaires, veterans, and spouses are invited and encouraged to attend.

District 7 Commander Elmo May said the purpose of the annual gathering is to conduct district business, hear reports from department officers and committees, collaborate on upcoming activities, and review resolutions. Strengthening unity and communication among all branches of the Legion family will also be a key focus.

The event will begin with a joint general session before breaking out into individual group meetings. Legion Family attire or uniforms are encouraged.

Strong attendance from every post, squadron, unit, and community ensures not only a successful conference but a stronger District 7,” Commander May said.
