Burns Flat, OK – Last week (July 31), Premium Aerospace Center Oklahoma (PAC) secured a 40-year lease with the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA) to expand into a 130,000 sq ft hangar at the Oklahoma Air and Space Port in Burns Flat.

The move marks a $65 million private investment and is expected to bring 200 jobs initially, with long-term projections reaching 450 to 600 jobs. PAC will use the 12-acre site to provide MRO services for large aircraft, including models like the 777X.

This is a crucial launching point for aerospace growth in western Oklahoma,” said Rep. Nick Archer of Elk City. “PAC’s facility can handle any commercial aircraft in service today.”

The lease was finalized with OSIDA CEO and ODAA Executive Director Grayson Ardies, following the recent merger of OSIDA and the spaceport into the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics. The facility spans 2,700 acres and includes the Clinton-Sherman Airport.

PAC will elevate this site with world-class MRO operations,” said Ardies.

Sen. Brent Howard of Altus added that PAC is partnering with Western Technology Center to build a skilled workforce, ensuring long-term success in Oklahoma’s aerospace future.
