The Elk City Police Department (ECPD) came together Tuesday night for its annual Department Christmas Party, celebrating the holiday season with employees and their families. This cherished tradition not only brings the department closer together but also serves as an opportunity to recognize exceptional performance throughout the year.

During the event, awards were presented to honor individuals who have gone above and beyond in their roles. The recipients, chosen through department-wide votes, represent the best of ECPD’s commitment to service and excellence. Congratulations to this year’s honorees:

Officer of the Year: PTL. Wyatt Anderson

Dispatcher of the Year: Kimberlee Chaney

Animal Control Officer of the Year: Amber Stepp

Animal Control Award for Outstanding Performance: Krystal Stone

Chief’s Citation Award for Exemplary Performance in the Line of Duty: LT. Jason Harris

The evening’s festivities were made even more special thanks to the delicious meal provided by Poppy’s Catering. The department expressed heartfelt gratitude to Poppy’s for their outstanding service and support in making the celebration memorable.

ECPD is proud to recognize these individuals and appreciates the hard work and dedication of every team member who helps keep our community safe.
